Paadha Hasthasana
Paadha means Foot. Hastha means Palm. Asana is position in Sanskrit.
It means keeping the Palms near the Foot
Benefits
- This Asana benefits the blood flow to the brain,
- Stretch the sciatic nerve ,
- Abdomen disorder regularisation,
- Lower back straightening.
Aviod
Pregnant women must avoid.
people with high Blood pressure must avoid.
This activates Manipuraka chakra
How to do this Asana
- Stand straight.
- Slowly take deep breath and exhale slowly while bending forward.
- Till placing the palms next to the feet and touching the floor you must exhale.
- In the process, you will tend to bend the knees to touch the floor.
- That should not happen.
- The exhale must continue till end.
- Relax in position and have 2 to 3 breaths.
- Now inhale and lift body up wards towards standing position.
